About Me: OreofeOluwa Olatunji

Name: OreofeOluwa Olatunji

Age: 21 (I’ve been 21 for a couple of years now)

Sex: Female

Location: Gaborone, Botswana

Favourite food: Hmm. I just like food, period. But since I have to choose, I’ll go with chicken stir fry.

Favourite bible verse: I have so many favorites! But one that I’m currently holding on to is Jeremiah 29:11.

Favourite translation: NKJV, The Message also breaks down verses in an interesting way.

Best author: They are TOO many! I’ll name three though – C.S Lewis, Zacharias Tanee Fomun and Francine Rivers.

When you became born again: 1999

How you became born again: I was born in a Christian home and I grew up listening to the the message of the gospel being preached. In June 1999, at a church convention, I made the conscious decision to give my life to Jesus and live for Him. I was quite young at the time but God has kept me. It has NOT been a smooth ride, I’ve gone through periods of backsliding and moments of doubting my salvation but God has always brought me back home. His patience and graciousness towards me just amazes me.

What you do: Attorney

How you met LGL, the journey so far: Sometime mid last year, Frances ran a blog series on brokenness and how God gives beauty for Ashes. In one of the the posts she left a link to a series on this blog (Broken Pieces of Me). I followed the link and the rest, as they say, is history.

I’ve learnt so much from the blog, enjoyed the thrilling stories and made friends. It’s been a memorable journey and I’m glad I followed that link and commented on that story. ☺

What are your dreams and visions for the website: Growth!!! Tope’s passion and dedication is nothing short of inspiring. My prayer for the blog is that it grows to reach many more people, across nations and continents, and that the message of love is impacted to each one who reads the blog.

What words would you say best describes you: sweet ?, sensitive, graced misfit ?

What are your guiding principles: The golden rule (do to others what you would have them do unto you) always helps me put things in perspective.

Who are your role models: Once again, they are quite a number. My mom tops the list though, always!
